9 Muslim Passengers Removed From Jet – Reagan Intl. Airport

Officials ordered nine Muslim passengers, including three young children, off an AirTran flight headed to Orlando from Reagan National Airport yesterday afternoon after two other passengers overheard what they thought was a suspicious remark.

Members of the party, all but one of them U.S.-born citizens who were headed to a religious retreat in Florida, were subsequently cleared for travel by FBI agents who characterized the incident as a misunderstanding, an airport official said. But the passengers said AirTran refused to rebook them, and they had to pay for seats on another carrier secured with help from the FBI.

And one more thing….what in blazes is going on such that someone in this day and age is even using the word “bomb” while on a plane? Have they really been interrogated? Did they hear discussions of a bomb at the mosque I presume they attend? Is this incident itself enough to get a wiretap and a bug placed in their mosque just to hear what is being preached there that they would say such a thing? I worked in the WTC and lost three friends that day. If we had asked more question before, as well as after, we might not have as many worries as we have today. While there are surely some very patriotic muslims in America today, We have no idea who they are as their religion teaches that it is fine to lie to the kafir (sp?) as the 19 on 9/11 were indulging in western practices to deceive those around them. The FBI has a 120 page report on how the Wahabi sect – the virulent form of Islam – from Saudi Arabia funds 80% of the mosques in America. In that study it is stated that they are to live in peace with their American neighbors until the time is right for Islam to work on their mission to conquer us. Sorry, but my daughters are never wearing a burka. Thank God we don’t tolerate the protest and the signs we see in London calling for bombing the pentagon and ourdestruction. At least I hope we don’t.

Your spelling is correct, but how many will know what a kafir is? As to your summation, who knows? ‘Follow the money’ to see who is supporting whom!

Glad to hear airport security and the FBI are on the ball! In this day and age, who would even mention “bomb” on an airplane? I guess you have to assimilate into American society to understand our sensitivity to such matters. Hmm. Imagine that, assimilate into American society, what a concept.

This is a totally proportionate response. The fact these indurvidials were in the majority US citizens and all Muslim, is irrelevant.

Anybody who has the intellect as demonstrated by this offender should be ejected post haste. Common sense, especially in view of 911 would dictate you you do not mention bomb, aircraft, gun or anything else remotely resembling the intent to cause an act of terror period.

If these people were Jews Buddhists or Christians, they should be treated the same, i.e. uniformly.

The only shortfall in my opinion is the authorities should have extensively interviewed them and ban them from Air Travel for 12 month as they posed a clear and present danger. The justification is simple, anyone who can not keep his or her mouth shut in the interests of the collective security have no place traveling by air.

A reward should be paid to the vigilant person(s) who bough this matter to the attention of the authorities.
