Tensions Rise Between United States, Pakistan
A lot of bad blood currently exists between Washington and Islamabad, according to U.S. and Pakistani officials. President Obama has made it clear that success for U.S. efforts to stabilize Afghanistan depends in large part on what happens in Pakistan. But analysts say his new strategy for the region places huge demand on Pakistan and creates tension between the two countries — something that became evident during a recent visit by U.S. officials.

The United States of America has the right to dictate terms with regards to the use of monies given, it is their money being given! If Pakistan finds this so repulsive let them put the $10 billion up, oops sorry forgot to mention they don’t have it!
Secondly, quite justifiably Pakistan in the past has misused funds given to it by the US Government, so the saying once bitten twice shy could be appropriate.
The Pakistani Government has to start playing ball if it wants to survive, it has to once and for all clean house with the ISI who has been proven to be a state within a state to the extend they and in many cases working against the states established policies, this has to stop. Pakistan is a wonderful country and the people are genuinely good in the majority but a realization has to take place, tribalism has to be reined in, fiscal accountability has to be established and enforced and the end of big families monopolizing the political arena has to happen to allow true democracy to flourish.
Bottom line, Pakistan you are a strong nation, but do not resent or bite the hand that helps you, working together will yield better results than posturing and ruffling feathers because someone tells you how you can and can not spend their money, act like a nation you aspire to be a great one and not like a banana republic!
