The Wanted – NBC News Sets Premiere for Anti-terror Series

NBC News has set an airdate this month for “The Wanted,” its hour-long docu-series that follows the hunt for international terrorists.
“The Wanted” will air at 10 p.m. on two consecutive Mondays, July 20 and July 27, with more episodes to potentially follow.

International terrorism is a threat. So is the threat within our borders. How about the al-Queda training camps (approx. 31) that are known to be in this country. And the tunnels from Mexico. Some of them must have connections with terrorists as well as drug smugglers.
We are going to see terrorism in this country based on the promises of the Iranian leaders and North Korea. Look over your shoulder for news locally.
And just how does Mr. Gerdlund know the number, albeit an approximation, of training camps in the US? Knowing that and not giving locations or any information to back up his claims does seem to make me wary of believing him. Sorry Leroy. I’m not saying you’re wrong, rather, I’m asking for sources.

b. this should count as fear mongering
c. any real data you have should be forwarded to the FBI
d. we all know terrorism is a threat, but being so far off base from the topic of the article says that we have failed to teach people how to think more critically about the problem

Leroy isn’t that far off. This country will be “hit” again. Under the Bush administration there were dozens of plots that were stopped. They may not have been close to the level of 9-11 but they are still terrorist attacks. Washington has had its head stuck in the ground about securing the borders, illegal immigration and the threat terrorism still plays. Pres. Obama is on his global lets play nice tour and seems to thinking talking will solve all our problems. That worked so well for most of Europe during WWII appease, appease, appease and soon you will have nothing left. I am not a hawk by any stretch of the imagination I do believe this nation really needs to look at the threats as real and that their are people out there willing to kill anyone over ideology, religion, and money.
Lame! I was very disappointed. All characters/actors? look like they are reading scripts. The entire show appears overly scripted. No natural feel.
