Man Arrested Trying To Board Plane With Loaded Gun



The WHEC I-Team 10 reports that they have learned a man recently tried to board a plane at the Rochester international airport with a loaded gun in his carry-on bag. The man didn’t get far according to the report. .

When you go through the security checkpoint at the airport, it’s hard to miss the warning signs. The number one on the list of things you can’t bring on an airplane – a gun.

    I work for TSA as a Behavior Detection Officer, and we hear the same thing where I work. “I didn’t know it was in there” or “That isn’t my gun” Classic responses to these type of situations.

    Actually you can bring a gun on an airplane. It must be checked with tsa and fill out an apropriate form, then the suitcase has to be locked with a non tsa approved lock, also a form must be filled out stating the firearm is unloaded.
