The senseless killing in Mexico of Roberto “Bobby” Salcedo, assistant high school principal and member of his school board from El Monte California, has his friends and family searching for answers.
33-year-old Salcedo was kidnapped and murdered by gunmen while in Mexico to see his family for the holdays, his family explained. His brother Carlos Salcedo said that Mexican authorities found him dead Thursday in the upper state of Durango. Wednesday night, Salcedo took his wife out to dinner with some friends in the city of Gomez Palacio. Gunmen invaded the restaurant and forced innocent people to the floor.
