Times Online reports Britain and the U.S. have closed their embassies in Yemen today in the face of threats from al-Qaeda.
Officials said that security chiefs who were found at the two buildings within the newer area of Sanaa, the capital, will determine whether or not the embassies will re-open tomorrow. John Brennan, head of the White House’s counter-terrorism department stated that there were signs that al-Qaeda had been organizing an attack towards a target located in Sanaa, probably the U.S. Embassy.
