A Portsmouth man faces jail for selling information from Al Qaeda on how to carry out terrorist attacks.
Terrance Brown produced a CD entitled The Anarchist Cookbook at his home in Whitworth Road, Copnor, Portsmouth, Winchester Crown Court heard.
He sold copies around the world, making tens of thousands of pounds, on his website anarchist-cookbook.com. The site has since been taken down by the police.
The 46-year-old gathered information from the Al Qaeda Training Manual and the Mujahideen Poisons Handbook to form part of his own guide.
The CDs, which he sold for 35 dollars for a set of two, provided information on how to make home-made bombs and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Prosecutor Parmjit Cheema said Brown had admitted selling the material.
She said: Its accepted that the breadth and depth of the collection is an extremely large collection – indeed the largest that has been collected in this jurisdiction of such material. The profits from this business that he engaged in were in the tens of thousands of pounds.
