What this gentleman does not understand that in TSA terms, 50% is not 50% but less than 20%+/- and here is why. The TSA defined 50% as half of the cargo by units not weight as cargo is normally treated. If you had 10 elephants then 50% is 5 of them, but that is not how freight comes. If you had 10 packages or lots of goods and the first 5 weighed 75 pounds each and the remaining 5 were 1 pound each, 50% would mean to the airline that they can screen a total of 5 pounds in lieu of the other 375#’s of cargo and still be compliant. In this way the airlines got to pick and choose what they screened, leaving the screening issue far from the desired 50%. Now that the IFR is in effect all cargo will be screened as of 8/3/10.

OMG,

I want this now! Having lived and visited places where events happen, this would have been a life saver.

Now if we can just develop an EMP resistant material and integrate it with this for ultimate protection. If properly warned I could huddle up with my iMac, laptop and wait out the blast.

Oh yeah, I will need to enough for my family as well!

Did not have time to listen to news video, but would like to note:

Since the outbreak of the “novel influenza A-H1N1, global scientists have speculated whether this hybrid new virus strain might be a lab virus, because it appears to have “reverse engineered itself” to infect humans, after incorporating DNA found in avian, swine and human viruses, including elements found in European and Asian swine viruses. It is a mystery how DNA from the aforementioned viruses managed to combine their proteins with the influenza “A” virus strain of sub-type H1N1 that caused the 1918 Spanish Flu, then mix with swine flu genes from pigs, making it possible to infect humans.

Scientists last year suggested, that: whether or not the “New Swine Flu” was lab made, it appeared to have the potential of mutating by either a naturally occurring or man-made binary-agent; and the shelf life of a binary agent might be a factor of duration. It would be interesting to determine what actually caused the Ukraine black-lung symptoms.

Your question was “has this scene done its job in the way it was intended?” and the answer for me is I don’t know. As I played the level, I was disturbed by the scene because #1. the scene looks awfully real and #2. this was done through a 1st persons point of view and I had full control over the actions of the individual I was playing. I couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger on anyone in the airport. But I easily open fired on FSB officials. What the level showed me was that I won’t shoot at innocent people but I can shoot at anyone out to kill me.

I think Infinity Wards message was this: Looking through the eyes of the individual, could you pull the trigger and kill people that are unarmed and running for their lives in fear? Now if that was their message, I’m glad to say I couldn’t do it. Sadly though, a lot of people playing this game would have no problem killing innocent people, in the game or in real life for that matter.

What they DON”T list in the articles now is that Munir Muthana, immigrant from Yemen, was screaming about hating America, using explatives while doing so and screaming “muslims will fix this country”. He was subdued by police after he wrecked the car.
I give the RPD and MCS credit for not giving Muthana his wish of ’suicide by cop’, denying him of his “virgins”.
