According to a message posted early today on an Islamic web site, Islamic terrorists are reportedly preparing a “big operation” inside the U.S. The message outlines the length of time that has passed since the attacks of September 11, 2001 and that the American people had enough of an opportunity to reassess [our] values, way of life and support of “the crimes committed by [our] Government” but have failed to do so. The next attack, according to the message, promises to be strong and eclipse the events of September 11, 2001 in terms of economic and human losses.

U.S. intelligence officials warned Wednesday that the threat of al Qaeda or other terrorist groups attacking the United States was still imminent and likely would be in the form of a car bomb or other low-tech weapon.
But they stressed that terror groups were trying to circumvent U.S. security measures and obtain weapons of mass destruction.

Al-Qaeda remains capable of mounting “devastating attacks” and sanctions are only having a limited effect on the group, a United Nations report said.
Al-Qaeda is still trying to acquire chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons and it is only “a matter of time” before a successful attack occurs, a report by a team of investigators said on Tuesday.

Iraq’s most wanted terrorist, the Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, is hiding out in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk after fleeing from Mosul, according to police sources.
The claim comes barely days after the Iraq’s interim government said that it was close to catching the jihadist, whose group has been behind the beheadings of foreign hostages, including Briton Kenneth Bigley, and suicide bombings.

An audiotape purportedly of Al-Qaeda number two Ayman al-Zawahiri hit out at the US concept of freedom, saying it was a cloak for spreading corruption and injustice in the Islamic world.

A United Airlines pilot who also flew for the National Guard told a woman that he wanted to crash a plane into Wall Street because some people made “easy money” there, court documents allege.
Robert Feneziani, 44, of San Diego, was arrested Wednesday by FBI agents with the Joint Terrorism Task Force of Western New York and charged with lying on a military application for a security clearance. He pleaded not guilty and was released on $10,000 bail.

Christian journalist Jeremy Reynalds has been targeted for killing by Islamists on the Al Ansar forum.
In a thread on the Houston-based site, the person who ran the now-defunct mawsuat.com site starts by blaming Reynalds for the site’s demise, posts a POBox address for Reynalds, and asks if anyone else has more information about him.
In the discussion that follows, the Islamists first post Reynald’s home address so that he might be “visited”, then a picture of him and a wish that his ribs should be broken, and finally they offer their prayers to Allah that He should deliver to them Reynald’s “fatty neck” – a clear reference to the current fad of decapitating anyone deemed to be a critic of the more lethal forms of Islam.
