Maryland Man Arrested on Charges of Supporting Terrorists

Federal authorities have arrested a Maryland man in New Jersey for allegedly providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization, the U.S. attorney’s office in New York announced Thursday.
Mahmud Faruq Brent of Gwynn Oak is accused in a criminal complaint of conspiring to support the Lashkar-e-Taiba between 2001 through May 2005 by attending a terrorist training camp the group ran in Pakistan.
