Four Cars Found Rigged With Pipe Bombs

Police now believe four pipe bombs located across the Salem area Thursday were all attached to cars, and are warning people to inspect their vehicles before driving off.

“If you leave your car for any length of time, take a second and glance underneath it,” Salem police Lt. Bill Kohlmeyer said. By 2 p.m. today, no reports of additional bombs had surfaced, but police urged Salem area residents to remain vigilant.
