3 Explosions in Marmaris, Turkey.

Marmaris was recently selected as UK’s #1 vacation destination spot. No details yet as to extent of the blasts or injuries.

21 British nationals have been injured in three explosions in the Turkish Mediterranean Sea holiday resort of Marmaris, a spokeswoman for the British Foreign Office says.

“There have been three explosions in the resort of Marmaris, Turkey, and several British nationals have been injured and are in hospital. We have consular staff on the ground,” she said.

“We have no further details in terms on the cause of the explosions or the location.”

The blasts took place in the last few hours, and it was unclear how many people had been injured in total.

One of the blasts involved a mini-bus, while a second was reported near the town’s harbor area and a third was reported near an airline office.
