Up To $5 Million Dollar Reward for Information Leading To Arrest & Capture FBI Bulletin
Five years ago, as 19 al-Qaida operatives in the United States put the finishing touches on what would become the Sept. 11 attacks, a frail, asthmatic computer engineer from South Florida paid a visit to this tiny Muslim enclave where he’d lived as a boy.
Adnan Gulshair Muhammad el Shukrijumah, then 25, kept a low profile over the course of the week. He hung out with a small circle of devout older men who were leaders of the local Islamic community. They prayed in mosques, went fishing and enjoyed long walks and leisurely dinners, recalled one of the hosts, Imtiaz Mohammed.
Update: Adnan el Shukrijumah possesses the uncanny abilities to blend into a crowd, to alter his looks, and to assume a multitude of identities. He is the proverbial Mr. Cellophane. Few things about Shukrijumah indicate his radical Islamic orientation. He is often clean-shaven and never wears a long shirt or chews a toothpick.

A type of fish so common that practically every American kid who ever dropped a fishing line and a bobber into a pond has probably caught one is being enlisted in the fight against terrorism.
San Francisco, New York, Washington and other big cities are using bluegills also known as sunfish or bream as a sort of canary in a coal mine to safeguard their drinking water.
Small numbers of the fish are kept in tanks constantly replenished with water from the municipal supply, and sensors in each tank work around the clock to register changes in the breathing, heartbeat and swimming patterns of the bluegills that occur in the presence of toxins.

The American al Qaeda, Adam Gadahn, was spotted last month in a remote area of Pakistan but moved before he could be captured according to Pakistani intelligence officials.
The officials say Gadahn, a native of Orange County, Calif., was seen in South Waziristan, where he is believed to be involved in the production of al Qaeda propaganda tapes.
Pakistani officials say they are “hot on the trail” of Gadahn, although South Waziristan is one of the areas where Pakistani soldiers have been ordered to stay in their barracks as part of a “peace agreement” between the Pakistani government and tribal militants believed to shelter al Qaeda and Taliban elements.

“Very devastating” is how Bradford Police Chief Ollie Bond described the amount of damage that could have been done by explosive materials found behind a building on Old U.S. 45 East Thursday morning. Bond said police were still searching for the owner of the material Thursday afternoon.
“It could have been very devastating, considering some of the things and materials that (the unknown suspects) had (left at the scene) and where they got it from, off the Internet, to produce the stuff,” Bond said. ”They were pretty much in the midst of completing their objective.”
Bond said he knows what the intended target was because the suspects left information behind. He declined to say what that information is. “We appreciate them leaving their target,” Bond said. “We appreciate their hard work (of leaving the information behind).”
A Bradford police officer was dispatched to the scene at 9 a.m. Thursday to investigate the explosive materials that had been found, Bond said.
Federal agents are downplaying the discovery of the cache of explosives, including maps higlighting local churches, and announced there is no evidence of a crime.
Nathaniel Jones, Special Agent-In-Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) in Memphis, said there are no suspects, and there will be no charges.
“A small amount of explosive material and fireworks were located at the residence,” said Jones. “There is no information or indication as to any criminal activity associated with the items recovered.
“As a result of our investigative efforts, there are no indications of any threats against any churches, a specific group of people, any office building or government facility or residence.”
Jones would not comment on the maps and church bulletins Bradford police say were discovered along with the explosive materials, leaving at least one elder of a church less than a mile away to wonder why the investigation ended so quickly.

A man wearing military fatigues and throwing punches into the air tried to open the exit door of a jet during a cross-country flight on Tuesday night, airline officials and passengers said.
United Airlines Flight 890 from Los Angeles landed as scheduled at Washington Dulles International Airport at 8:35 p.m., said Amy Kudwa, a Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman. No one was injured.
The passenger became unruly about 3 1/2 hours into the flight from Los Angeles and was subdued by other passengers and federal air marshals, said United spokeswoman Megan McCarthy.
“After the passenger was restrained, the pilot decided to land at Dulles,” McCarthy said. “It wasn’t an emergency landing.”
Ken Wolfenberger, of Whittier, Calif., who was on the flight, told The Associated Press in a telephone interview that he helped subdue the unruly passenger. The man wore patches on his fatigues with special forces and jujitsu champion logos, Wolfenberger said.
