American al Qaeda Adam Gadahn Makes Terror Threats

An American member of al-Qaeda yesterday threatened to target foreign diplomats and embassies in the Islamic world, calling them “spy dens”.

In a video, Californian-born Adam Gadahn, also known as Azzan al-Amriki, who is wanted by the FBI, claims the embassies promote adultery and drinking as well as encouraging Muslim woman to wear western dress.

Speaking in English, and wearing a traditional Arab red-and-white checkered scarf, Gadahn said: “We shall continue to target you, at home and abroad, just as you target us, at home and abroad, and these spy dens and military command and control centres from which you plotted your aggression against Afghanistan and Iraq.”

He added: “Years of bitter trial and experience have revealed the danger [embassies] pose and shown that the only way to deal with them when they refuse to leave of their own accord is to expel them by force.
