Just days after a copy of a video of terrorist leader Osama bin Laden was released, al-Qaeda’s media arm, as-sahab has announced another tape will follow. Osama bin Laden will present the last testament of Abu Musab al-Walida, a 9/11 hijacker.
The release of the video appears to be timed to coincide with the sixth anniversary of the terror attacks in New York.New Video Forthcoming from Usama bin Laden, , One of the Nineteen 9/11 Hijackers
An Islamic website today bore an advertisement that a further message from bin Laden would be posted soon.
A banner, signed by media representative al-Sahab, said: “Coming soon, God willing, the testament of the attacks on New York and Washington, Abu Musab Waleed al-Shehri, presented by Sheik Osama bin Laden, God preserve him.”
A picture showed bin Laden wearing the same black beard and clothes as in the most recent video. There has been speculation as to whether the image is truely that of bin Laden or merely a lookalike.(See Story below)
Last week’s video, if genuine, contained the first images of bin Laden to be seen by the world in three years.
Several audio messages have been issued in his name, the latest in July 2006 when he once again vowed al-Qa’eda would fight Americans across the world.
Al-Qaida has in the past released videos of the last will and testaments of some of the hijackers, accompanied by comments by top leaders and documentary-style footage.
Last year al-Sahab released a 55-minute video with the last testimonies of hijackers Wail al-Shehri and Hamza al-Ghamdi.
The video included old but previously unreleased footage showing bin Laden strolling through an Afghan training camp and chatting with top al-Qaida lieutenants.
Two things about the first video….
1. There are 4 obvious times where the video freezes.
2. The audio transcript closely follows a speech given by Adam Ghadan on Saturday 8 Sept 2007.
3. Osama wears the same exact clothing as in an earlier video tape where his beard has white streaks and is longer.
I think this new video is a crafted fake by Al Queda and Ghadan is the groups new propaganda s**t talker. Osama is gravely ill or the bastard is dead.
I thought that Osma Bin Laden’s last live photos that were verified revealed a lot of grey mixed in his black beard, and he looked older and less healthy then the currently released video. He appears to have become younger in the last three years, or did the cia hell fire missle find his solar plexus a few years back. ? bluff call…..make him prove his exsistance…
