Remembering 9/11 “What We Saw” Video

TowersBFrom a different view. This home video of the 9/11 terror attack on the World Trade Center is from a 36th floor apartment near the North Tower. The events of 9/11 are familiar to all of us. Perhaps so much so that over time we have become desensitized to the actual events. What is absolutely chilling, is how the video captures the personal experience of the couple taking the video. It is their comments, telephone calls, shock and anguish that brings back a flood of emotions from that day. It was released last year on the 5th anniversary of 9/11.

We must never forget,,,, never ever forget. This is reality folks… not Hollywood. We need to pay attention to the world around us. We need to open our eyes to what is happening in our government and unite together.

Stop the bickering between parties. We need a united solution to our problems today and we need them now.

If we close our eyes and forget this day… we will not be prepared for tomorrow. There are those who say it will never happen again. History repeats itself. The next time may be worse. For God’s sake people… it is time to wake up and stop watching the soaps all the time. There are people who truly want to kill us and it does not matter if you been naughty or nice.

We must not forget! We must never forget what happened on 9/11.

I am amazed. The narrators of this clip seem oblivious to what is happening. Oh my God was about the Best she could express. Its obvious it has been edited but , Oh my God, what cold emotion

  4. Dan Rush says:

I will never forget what these maniacs did and it was only the most horrible of attrocities we have seen from these rug humping, glassy eyed jihadi-monkies.

Last Friday, at long last, a U.S. Judge publicly declared that Iran bears the soul responsibility for the mass murder of our Marines in Lebanon in 1983. Iran is the vortexed center of Jihadi fascist madness and there can be no compromise, talking or negotiation with these monkey bastards.

We must stop these treasonous Democrats and liberals in America from gaining all consuming Imperial power and spreading their Isolationist, pro-Islamist poison amoung our people or we will reap the repeat of history.

It is unbelievable if I hadn’t watched it with my own eyes. I think it is a good reminder for all of us that these things can happen again and we should be prepared and ready for any emergency by storing water, food, some cash and Emergency Backpacks that can be taken at a seconds notice. Also, we should have copies of all our important papers in some kind of case to be taken out of our homes at a moments notice. If everybody did this we would be in alot better shape to handle emergencies. Remember Katrina. Thank you for sharing your experience. I needed the reminder today to be more grateful for my life and my family. These are perilous times on this planet. We need to spread more love and compassion on this earth not hate and abuse.

  6. Terry Husel says:

Six years later, Osama Bin Laden is alive and living in the hills of Afghanistan while the U.S. military is bogged down in Iraq. So much for “never forget.”

  7. Dan Rush says:

Terry, don’t be so sure. Actually Bin Laden is more worth to our efforts alive and opening his big mouth.

As for “Bogged”? We would not be so “bogged” if Congress wasn’t so comfortable with treason.

  8. Lucky Stephens says:

This video is heartbreaking in its raw emotional realness. No news report or video could ever match the candid reactions of this family. Watching and listening made me feel like I was there. I wanted to hug her and cry with her when she cried.

  9. Jen says:

JW, who in the world are you to judge the ‘emotions’ of someone who witnessed this tragedy unfold LIVE from their apartment? You have NO RIGHT to stand in judgement of their comments, reactions, etc. YOU should be ashamed of yourself for YOUR cold emotion in response to THEIR personal experience which they chose to share with us. To you who chose to share your personal experience with us: Thank you. We need to remind ourselves daily all that we should not take for granted. God Bless You.
