A suspicious package was found near Agnes de Mille Theatre at the N.C. School of the Arts in Winston-Salem on Friday. According to an official for the school, the package was safely removed around 12:00 and is a ‘done deal.’
The package was discovered around 9:30 a.m. and a campus alert was posted on the school’s Web Site.
Local police have evacuated the area and are asking people to stay away from the theatre.
According to the school’s Web Site, this is a precautionary measure and are asking people to not call the NCSA Police Department unless they have specific information about the incident
