Five crewmembers of a U.S. Airways flight became ill on a flight to Boston on Monday morning.

The airline said the crew was working on Flight 2022, a shuttle from Washington’s Reagan National Airport to Boston’s Logan Airport when they got sick. The flight landed at Logan without incident. The crew was treated by emergency medical services at the gate.

The five crewmembers were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with symptoms similar to carbon monoxide poisoning, emergency workers told CBS station WBZ-TV in Boston.

No one else on the plane was ill.

A spokesperson for U.S. Airways said the crew was working on a different flight earlier in the day and had complained about a smell on that jet.

It’s not clear if that incident was the cause of their illnesses. The airline did not say if the pilot and co-pilot were part of the crew that became ill.
