Hood Canal Bridge – Suspicious Package Forces Closure

The closure began shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday, after the abandoned bag was found on the bridge between the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas in Washington State.
The span reopened a little after 2 p.m.
Troopers have not said what they found in the backpack.
