Five men have been arrested on suspicion of having links with the two suicide bombers who attacked the high-security Pakistani naval college in Lahore killing seven people, officials said on Wednesday.

The arrests were made after police traced the owner of the motorcycle that was used by the suicide bombers in Tuesday’s attack on the War College.

The men were picked up from different areas of Lahore, the capital of the central Punjab province, officials said.

The severed heads and body parts of both suicide bombers had been found and sent for DNA tests. However, they are yet to be identified, the officials said.

Lahore police chief Malik Iqbal has set up a special team to probe the attack.

The two suicide bombers blew themselves up in the parking lot of the War College, one of the Navy’s key training establishments. The bombing was the latest in a series of deadly attacks against Pakistan’s armed forces.
