Shooting At Jewish School For Girls In Williamsburg Brooklyn – Be’er Miriam School

Police are investigating a shooting near a Jewish girls’ school in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
Police say the incident happened at around 3 p.m. outside the Be’er Miriam School.
According to the Yeshiva World News, a website devoted to the Chasdic yeshiva community, there are unconfirmed reports that one or more shots may have gone into the school.
Police investigators are at the scene, as are members of the Williamsburg Shomrim, a neighborhood patrol group.
Members of the Shomrim are telling community leaders that one bullet did penetrate an occupied classroom, but no one was hit.
At this time there are no reported injuries, and no suspects in custody.
The motive for the shooting and the intended target of the gunfire are not known.
