Fitna, a film by Dutch politician Geert Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom (PVV) in the Dutch parliament has been removed by LiveLeak following threats to their staff.. The movie offers Wilders views on Islam and the Qur’an. The film’s title comes from the Arabic word fitna which is used to describe “disagreement and division among people”, or a “test of faith in times of trial”.

LiveLeak on Friday afternoon issued a statement explaining its decision to remove the film:

“Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill-informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, LiveLeak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers.

“This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realized LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.

“Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one another’s culture. We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high.”

Terrorists cannot take criticism, but they take lives! This would have been another excuse for them to murder. I respect protecting one’s own against these strange people with a strang view of their otherwise peaceful religion. Allah damn them! God forgive them, I cannot.

To liveleak , History doe’s not long entrust the care of FREEDOM to the Weak or the Timid. The human spirit is never finished when it is defeated, it is finished when it surrenders. The ultimate measure of a man, is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of chaiienge and controversy. If their must be trouble let it be in my day, that my child may have peace. All that is required for evil to triumph is for a few good men to do nothing. These are words to live by that can only better a society. Rember one man with courage makes a majority. by IRON MIKE.

Should one take the time to read the koran and the hadith, as well as to study the history of islam and the middle east…this film does nothing more than allow we dhimmis and other infidels to understand the justification used by the muslims to carry out their barbarous acts.
We must stand against this 7th century abomination! If we allow ourselves to become dhimmis may God have mercy on us. We are allowing our beloved right to freedom of expression to fall at the hands of those who would enslave us.
    God Bless and Save America!

Why must my comment be “moderated”? I speak truth without obscenity. I speak history without distortion. Political correctness will kill us as a people and a nation.
