Why is there a visitor's center there if they don't want people to see what is going on? And what can be seen in public view from the outside? If there is something visible from outside, then how do they think they can stop people from studying it or photographing it with a tiny concealed still or video camera? Are visitors searched for concealed cameras before they enter? This doesn’t sound too secure to me.

The south side of Kitty is the only area that is guarded. Kitty has very old chain link fencing on the perimeter, fallen trees and time's toll on the fence have made it so the local deer population regularly move in and out of the base.
