Any Floridian that fails to acquire the CCW permit is a target of opportunity for the cutters. It is too bad that so many animals are on the streets of our nation. That's the fault of a legal system that has lost its cojones, and the subject for a different forum. Until the law gets things back under control, its up to each citizen to learn self protection, taking appropriate firearms training, acquiring a suitable gun and permit, and trying to live an alert lifestyle. It 's not the first responder's fault, but that call to 911 is always too late. Florida has good and improving gun laws.
