A subway train derailment in New York that required 400 passengers to evacuate is being investigated.
Transit officials say two cars jumped the tracks Sunday north of a station near Central Park. No one was seriously injured.
Firefighters removed the passengers from the tunnel in about an hour by using a “rescue train.” Two people reported minor injuries but didn’t require treatment.
Some train service had to be rerouted.
