13 Dead After Double Bombing In Algeria

Two successive attacks have left at least 13 dead including a French engineer, his Algerian driver and members of the security forces near Lakhdaria, east of Algiers.

The car of French engineer exploded at the exit of the site of a railway station in Beni Amrane where the French company for whom he worked was in charge of fixing the railway.

Severely wounded, the French died from his injuries.

A second bomb was triggered when people came to the rescue of the French engineer, killing more victims. Among these victims were members of law enforcement and civil protection.
