The Palm Beach County Bomb Squad safely removed what they’re calling a “suspicious live device” from a white Ford Bronco at a residence on Patricia Drive near West Palm Beach around 10 pm Sunday.
A call came into 911 after a young man and his father spotted the device attached to the Bronco in the driveway of their home.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department says the device was attached to the tail pipe with chicken wire.
Authorities evacuated 17 homes in the neighborhood while the bomb squad brought in their robot to remove the device.
The young man who owns the bronco told CBS 12 he knows of no one who would want to hurt him.
