U.S. Warns American Citizens of Protests Over Mexican Man’s Execution

The U.S. Embassy in Mexico is warning Americans of possible protests next week when a Mexican man is scheduled to be executed in Texas.
In a public statement yesterday, the embassy said it has received information that protests may occur Tuesday, when Jose Medellin is scheduled to die. Medellin has been sentenced to die for his participation in the gang rape and beating deaths of two young Houston girls in 1993.
The embassy urged Americans to avoid the protests, and said that activists in Mexico could use the demonstrations “to incite anti-U.S. sentiment in general.”
So Mexican gov’t tells us once more how to act. Will our law enforcement be incarcerated if they defend against anarchists? Ramos and Compean are still jailed. Los Angeles cops got in trouble at the May Day demo last year.
WE owe it to the Mexican gov’t and protestors to dare them to demonstrate for the expedition of justice as carried out by a system of just rule of law. I will not be silenced or kept in a state of fear at the instruction of such appeasement apostles. This is not the correct way to maintain sovereignty or security as a nation and a free society. If anything, the protestors should beware of unintended consequences for any civil disobedience or rebellious, riotous behavior.
