Man With Gun Arrested Aboard Amtrak Train – St. Louis

A man in his 20s was arrested Monday morning after he boarded an Amtrak train with a gun, police said.

Police say a passenger alerted police that a man had carried what was thought to be a gun aboard the train. After the discovery, the train, which had been near the McKinley Bridge, returned to the Amtrak station in St. Louis.

Police seized a gun from the man and found ammunition in his backpack.

The man, whose identity was not available, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
