Al-Qaeda Message Condemns Obama - al Zawahiri

The second-in-command of Islamic militant network al-Qaeda has hit out at US President-elect Barack Obama.

In a message purportedly from Ayman al-Zawahiri, the al-Qaeda deputy called Mr Obama a “house negro” - a demeaning term implying he served white people.

Mr Obama’s plan to bolster the US military presence in Afghanistan would fail, Zawahiri said.

If genuine, the message would be the first acknowledgement by al-Qaeda of the president-elect’s victory.

The audio message appeared on militant websites.

Zawahiri, an Egyptian by birth, is often referred to as Osama Bin Laden’s right-hand man and the chief ideologue of al-Qaeda.

In the short message he warned Mr Obama of failure if he followed Bush administration policies in the Middle East and Afghanistan.

He also criticised Mr Obama - whose father is Muslim - for abandoning his Islamic roots.

“You were born to a Muslim father, but you chose to stand with the enemies of Muslims,” he said.

    Al-Qaeda and those that follow these ideologies are seriously flawed. Al-Qaeda you choose to stand with the enemies of peace. You will never be peaceful , you can not be of peace. Civilization will not tolerate you in the future. Give up your stupid Jihad, because frankly its just a fairy tale. Perform real Jihad and wrestle with your own inner demons to bring peace to yourselves and us…

    Why does it matter 2 him? Obama will be our new leader so these demons need 2 stop threatening us! They need 2 worry about themselves because I got a very strong thought that THEIR FATE IS DRAWING VERY NEAR.I feel as though our BRAVE U.S. troops and our allies are closing in and going to locate bin Laden and all his demons. I sure hope my gut feelings are true! With all the intelligent info being given hopefully they can be taken down BEFORE they can inflict any danger/harm to innocent lives. Go get’em 2009 President Barack Obama, don’t let these demons get us a third time!!

He is no more than a desert rat hiding along side the worlds worst criminal and soon, both will see the hand of justice. Then we will see how much mouthing goes on.
