Report: al Qaeda Wants To Cripple Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor
The world’s economic fears were violently pushed aside on Wednesday by another global threat terrorism.
A massive coordinated attack was launched in Mumbai, India just hours after the FBI warned that Al Qaeda may be targeting New York’s subways and railroads.
If Al Qaeda terrorists have their way there will be chaos and mayhem here this holiday season, a mass transit bomb plot that would probably affect all the subway and train lines at Penn and Grand Central stations.
“The threat is serious, the threat is significant, and it is plausible,” said Congressman Peter King, R-Long Island, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee.
Uniformed officers, including NYPD Counter Terrorism Squad members and Amtrak cops with M-16s, flooded Penn Station Wednesday after the FBI said it had received a “plausible but unsubstantiated” report that Al Qaeda operatives discussed a plan two months ago to bomb New York City’s mass transit system.
The report said: “These discussions reportedly involved the use of suicide bombers or explosives placed on subway/passenger rail systems.”
Sources told CBS 2 HD the plot involved the Long Island Rail Road. If the explosion went off in Penn Station, the source said, it would affect transportation of Amtrak’s northeast corridor between Boston and Washington, LIRR service and New York City subway service.

this is the start of a wave of new attacks, designed to exceed the 9/11 attacks. I work in the public safety area and I can tell you that we are extremely concerned attacks seen in India will happen throughout the US during the holiday season. I pray that we are wrong about this but confidence is high and the “chatter” is rival to August of 2001
I am cautiously optimistic. We have travel plans to NYC from DC this December via Acela express. We are US citizens living abroad in India (and home for the holidays), so I fully understand the concern. While I refuse to change our travel plans, I will be extremely alert for anything out of the ordinary.
This is exactly why people in this country have got to remember that these extremists have not and are obviously not going away. We can’t let fluctuations in our market economy, complacence, or any distractions, cause us to lose sight of the target — these extremists who still want to do each and every one of us harm. They think they can take advantage of the global economic crisis and throw the world into a panic that truly will ravage our economies and allow them to recruit more people to accept their psychotic reality. Don’t be fooled. The US and our friends in the world must stand up and stand together against these people — if not for us, for our children, our grandchildren, and for our forefathers (and mothers) who stood up to tyranny in their generation.
Enjoy and stay safe, but always be ALERT for anything unusual and report it immediately. We WILL defeat those cowards (a.k.a. terrorists). God Bless America and ALL Americans where every they may be!

1. Muslims love the Lord. Islam represents that love.
2. Al Qaeda is not true Muslim; they are incapable of love, yet think of themselves as the ‘anointed protectors of Islam’. To this end, they recognize no limits. No human life is safe from their crude, misguided violent activities.
3. Al Qaeda sees Christianity as the number one threat to Islam. They have formulated an offensive strategy to deal with this, perceived threat.
4. Christmas represents the most obvious common ‘thread’, within the ’spiritual infrastructure’ of the enemy. Christmas is nearly here.
5. If God be with us, let us unite in spirit, and do all that is within our power to protect America. It appears that most of this is, now, in the hands of ‘agents’ of America’s security ‘forces’. We should prepare ourselves to ’support’ the efforts of these individuals and their agencies. Be VIGILANT. God, please, bless humanity.
Ha, if people out there just knew how armed we the people are here in the US now-a-days (well armed to the teeth), they would think twice now on, before they attempt to intimidate us. I guess that what it’s happening now is that we are FED UP! We are not afraid anymore. Not afraid of not having what we were used to have (jobs plenty, cash in the pockets, etc… and even our freedom!) and we are ready to fight and kill, so that we are just left alone. So, hey people out there who hate us the folks here in the US, think twice, we are ready for you, we, the people. Yeah, the people, the working class, rich and poor, men and women, for the simple task to defending our liberties. One thing now: Fight like real men, not like wimps as we in here are no cowards and do appreciate a fair fight.
Obama will save us!
Obama will not and cannot save us. There is only one Messiah and He is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only Anointed One. True change and hope will prevail only through the righteous prayers of God’s people. Hopefully, our nation will come to the realization that Obama’s message of change and hope is not the answer to America’s problems and threats. God’s hand is surely upon our powerful nation.
