Homegrown Jihad: The Terrorist Camps Around the U.S. premiered On February 11, 2009, at 7:30 pm. at the Landmark Theater in Washington, DC.
According to the press release, “The American public was never supposed to know. The 2006 Justice Department document that exposes 35 terrorist training compounds in the U.S. was marked “Dissemination Restricted to Law Enforcement.” All the copies of Sheik Muburak Gilani’s terrorist training video, “Soldiers of Allah,” had been confiscated and sealed, all of them, that is, except one that Christian Action Network now reveals in the documentary Homegrown Jihad: The Terrorist Camps Around the U.S.”

FP: We’re here today to discuss “Homegrown Jihad: Terrorist Camps Around U.S.,” the new documentary being released by the Christian Action Network. Tell us about it.
Mauro: This documentary is premiering at Washington D.C.’s Landmark Theater on February 11, at 7:30 PM. It is free to attend and I strongly encourage everyone in the area to come, and those out of the area to go to ChristianAction.org and order a copy. The Christian Action Network (CAN) is a non-profit organization and I personally will not see a penny from the sales. This documentary is simply too important; the threat too severe; and the public too unaware for me to not promote this is any way possible and call myself a patriotic American.
“Homegrown Jihad” documents the networks of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a terrorist group run by a radical Muslim leader in Lahore, Pakistan named Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, an individual who, as I said in my last interview, does us the favor of not hiding his true colors. While he casts himself as a peace-loving Muslim, his actions and the actions of his network are anything but. In the documentary, we show a secret videotape, one which Gilani strictly instructs his followers to keep hidden, where he personally engages in terrorist training, from killing guards to hijacking vehicles to setting off explosives. On this tape, he says that those seeking to “join one of the most advanced training courses in Islamic military warfare” can contact any of his “Muslims of America” compounds in the United States, almost all of which still operate today. I hope this isn’t really a surprise to anyone?
Looking at the amount of uninhabited ground in north america, why wouldn’t the radicals take advantage of the chance to train their folks right here at home?
Talk about a boot to the teeth of your enemies… Imagine training your team after picking from all of the “legitimate” immigrants to north america? All while protected by the personal rights guaranteed by that same enemy…
They’d be silly not to try and do it.

I love how we can pass the patriot act to spy on any citizen in America but for some reason we cannot manage to pass a law or give the law enforcement agencies the authorization to shut down 35 obvious threats to our national security. With the stores of chemical and nuclear materials we have in the US, you’d think we would be most concerned about these 35 camps before we decided to reemphasize our fight in Afghanistan. These actually pose a direct threat, and they are in our backyard…not in a cave in a mountain half a world away.
why is this not illegal, just the “personal rights” of someone who owns a crack house or something? Isnt there some law against this because it’s not in the best interest of the american people or the country as a whole?
If Americans don’t start to speak up we are going to loose this Country. We cannot depend on our Goverment and we need to let the Goverment know how we feel about their decissions. We are headed for some horrible times if we don’t get the goverment to listen to us.
That’s it! I’m going to buy a gun and take shooting lessons!

This is another example of why neither political parties represent the American people anymore. Both parties encourage shipping our jobs, industry and technology overseas; allowed the subprime market to blow up; looked the other way as Wall Street securitized mortgages into junk bonds and sold them worldwide; continue to ignore illegal immigration across the Mexican border (along with the drug cartels and Mexican-style kidnappings); and are now allowing political correctness to blind us to the growth of anti-American Islamic schools, Islamic-only enclaves in our cities, religious recruiting in our prisons, and terrorist training camps on U.S. soil. In 70AD the Romans destroyed their second temple, and scattered the Biblical Hebrews into other lands.

Why are the addresses and locations of these 35 camps not published somewhere?
What happened to our so called Homeland Security? The government is obviously aware of this!! Doesn’t this kind of thing fall under the types of things they are supposed to prevent???!!!! These camps have been around for at least a few years if there is already 35 of them.
If we don’t do something soon, as citizens (and appealing to our state representatives, Washington D.C., and the Supreme Court doesn’t do anything anymore) our country is going to go to hell in a handbasket. In just one month Obama (and I won’t call him President Obama since he is Constitutionally ineligible to be my President)has done so much damage to this country!!

Im Cuban and im serving on the US ARMY and even I, not even having being born on the US, find this particular problem greatly frustrating…
From my point of view, indeed we wouldn’t be doing a thing on Iraq, Afganistan or any other country, while having the house full of highly possible enemies… even if they are not part of a terrorist group(right now), i think is just matter of time before an organization like ALQAEDA try to contact them and manage a…$$… DEAL!!!
For what i was able to see on the video, they, just like the US-ARMY are trained very well and efectively to “kill”.Things like: bullet proof vests, combat boots, high power rifles, impact-googles ect..ect..ect.. are NOT impossible to find on US by a long shot, putting all that toguether… makes a kick-A$$ soldier.
We shouldn’t be just aware of them, we just be as well afraid, because, after all that’s what keep us alive in a scenario. I really hope the US goverment does something to deal with this people.

It wont be face to face combat with these groups or individuals, they’ll try to hit us the same way the majority of them are targeting U.S soldiers.., vbieds, and ieds, like cowards. These groups and training grounds have to be dissasembled before they realize how vunerable the countrys homefront has become. Dont get me wrong, bear arms and buy all the ammo you can right now, but i disagree with the “hunker down” mentallity.
