Preparation for disaster is always a good idea. Specific tips via video/commercial will get people thinking about what they and their families might need in an emergency. In the commercial notice the man picking up a "bugout" bag...keeping vital papers, necessary medication, a few days food rations and other necessities is a wise idea...you never know what could happen that could keep you out of your home for a while. Having these items can make your evacuation much easier. see the ready.gov site for more info..look at the links on nationalterroralert for other readiness info ...look at survival videos for ideas...you dont have to do it all but you may get good ideas regarding what makes sense for your family. Great article and info, gives me confidence in DHS to to see this and articles like this
