The Hindustan Times is reporting a US aircraft with 205 American Marines on board was today made to land at Mumbai airport for allegedly violating the Indian airspace.

The report states the chartered plane was on its way from Fujiriah in Middle East to Bangkok, according to an airport official. The aircraft was using a civilian call sign, officials said. Source.

A report from Straits Times states – ‘The Indian Air Force had to instruct the US plane to land as it did not have the mandatory clearance required to fly in Indian airspace,’ Indian Air Force spokesman T.K. Singha told AFP.

All passengers remained on board as US authorities applied for the missing paperwork, Singha said.

Foreign military aircraft have to obtain two sets of clearances before flying over India.

‘The US aircraft had procured clearance from India’s Directorate of Civil Aviation but they did not have Air Operations Routing (AOR) clearance,’ Singha said.

Chine, Russia and now India will not fight the fundamentalist and primitive occupation of Pakistan. They are letting the USA exhaust itself in the process and they like it. Perhaps in a decade or more, those three countries will converge on the futuristic primitive space.
Apart from few more or less democratically managed places, the world more and more is reverting to huge kingdoms or emirates or something else – using the old democratic names but realistically are spaces occupied by billions of poor people who are controlled by rich elites backed by armies. this is what has happened in russia, and in China, but I dont know about India.
Of course I am just IMPROVISING POSSIBILITIES in my mind. I hope I were more optimistic
