Navy SEALs Face Charges In Capture of Wanted Terrorist

According to a Fox News report, Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq, the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges.
According the report, the three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment, called an admiral’s mast, and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.
Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

If this is true it is a travesty & insult to all who serve ! God Bless these men & what they do if it weren’t for them standing in the gap the world would be a far scarier place than it already is !
This is utter BS! What is the message we are sending to our troops?
What are we doing punishing the brave men who bring our attackers to justice? All in the name of PC and “we don’t torture”? This is ridiculous..to put it too mildly!!
I’m sure this will come to nothing, but maybe next time the SEALS should just kill the guy and walk away.

Our troops captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq. He was injured during the process — so what — stop treating our troops this way.
Fight the war all out — or — bring the troops home.

This is a disgrace. How can we expect these brave men to fight a war on terror with one hand tied behind their backs! We all need to write our representatives in DC and tell them to speak out against this!
This country, in fact Western civilization, is at the crossroads for its survival. If we continue to “give in” to the liberal policies and political correctness, we will awaken some morning and find that the Taliban has taken charge and our Western values will be gone. Read our history…the Roman Empire fell in very similar circumstances. In the 11th Century, Europe was almost overrun by the Moors until a few leaders decided to save the Western world. We are now punishing Soldiers for doing their job to protect our way of life and to help another country attempt to develop a better form of government. May God have mercy on us, because we will need it.
That is a bunch of BS. He is lucky that all he ended up with was a bloody lip. The bloody lip could have come from resisting.
With everything this man is responsible for? These three guys should be getting presidential citations for a job well done. But our president is not a patriot, he is a politician. Politicians and warfare do not mix well.

STOP THE BS BEFORE ITS TO LATE FOR AMERICA
I had an experience in the Dominican conflict. One day Rules of engagement required us to give what type fired on us from what direction and the total number of rounds impacting our position. Then all of the ammunition was taken. Within 2 hours the Cuban fighter’s attacked us and there were casualties for us. This absurd situation was corrected only when,trucks returned and, threw cases of ammunition back into our positions. The next oorder was to take 4 blocks but, we took 10 ,blocks beforwe they could stop the unit’s advance. Either the warriors are there to fight, as only they know how to with C&Co on the ground. The other choice is don’t go.and pull out. This stagnation is insane and it i cost our sons lives every day, by not being indecisive constantly following through with the advance. We love our warriors of every generation as they are our national treasure that has kept us and many other countries free over all this time.

This is absolutely ridiculous!!! Please tell the SEALs next time, take out the subject so that there would be no “complaints”. What are we as a nation coming to when are military are in danger from the enemy and our government?
Here we go again, America. We want results, but we don’t have the stomach for it. A bloody lip! Please!! This guy is lucky he is still breathing. If the U.S. Navy is going to prosecute these men, who go into incredibly dangerous situation almost daily, then we should all be ashamed. We want security. These men provide it. Admirals and Captains – for once, stay out of politics. You know as well as I that these men deserve a medal, not a Courts Martial. This makes me sick!

Terrorist-prisoners are not above injuring themselves to propagandize their cause. Are there any witnesses that can prove the terrorist didn’t injure himself?
How much longer will our warriors put up with this BS before they reach
out and strike back. Their oath is to protect and defend the Constitution
against all enemies both foreign and domestic. It is not to serve a government that will not back the actions its has ordered them to do
This is a TOTAL outrage! The guy fell down, right? Who gives rights to this horrible person? Don’t make me ashamed to be an American! These Seals, need a parade, waving flags, support, hope, promotion! A meritorious sevice svc medal or naval commendation medal, thats what they should receive!
This is so ridiculous. Our soldiers need our backing and support. They don’t need to worry if they will be court martialed if they do their job. The rules of engagement shouldn’t change just because the enemy whines. Do you think they would keep one of ours alive? I hardly think so. So what? He’s got a bloody lip. Big deal. What’s next? Oh, I broke a nail? Please. You know, the ones responsible for 911 didn’t think about our small children in those towers. They didn’t care who died. They don’t care if they kill all of our sons and daughters. I personally don’t care for the garbage that our troops have to deal with. I think the SEALS should have brought him back a bit more worse for the wear. Then they would have something to complain about. God Bless all of our soldiers. I thank them all every day for the job they are doing. I pray every day that God keeps them safe. My son is a soldier. It breaks my heart every time the flag goes to half mast because another soldier died. So, a bloody lip. Oh, too bad. Let our soldiers do their job!!!!!
