Secret Border Tunnel to U.S. Discovered By Mexican Police

Police in Baja California have discovered a sophisticated tunnel approximately 120 miles east of San Diego in the border town Mexicali. Authorities say organized crime groups planned to sneak drugs, people and weapons through the tunnel.

Baja police were investigating suspicious activity at a home just south of the U.S.-Mexican border when they discovered a group of men digging a secret tunnel into the United States, a tunnel complete with lights, an elevator and even air-conditioning. Read more
