Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant Siren System In Service

A long-delayed emergency siren system has been put into service for New York residents within 10 miles of the Indian Point nuclear power plant.
A spokesman for the plant’s owner, Entergy Nuclear, says the new 172-siren system took over from an aging 156-siren system at noon Wednesday. Read more
